MEDITATION
Attentive meditation
Contact your internal wisdom, but if you're
just tired, it works too
This is about a simple technique of unleash a body and
mind profound relaxation state. As the mind grows calm and remains awake
you are going to benefit yourself of a more profound and peaceful state
of consciousness.
1. Before start, find a silent location where you
won’t be disturbed.
2. Sit down and close your eyes.
3. Concentrate on your breathing, inspiring and
expiring normally. Don't try to control or to change the breathing
deliberately. Just observe.
When observing breathing you will see that it changes.
There may be variations in the speed, in the rhythm and in the depth,
and maybe it will stop for a moment. Don't try to make any alteration.
Again, just observe.
Maybe you wander once in a while, thinking about other
things or paying attention to external noises. If that happens, simply
turn attention back to breathing.
If during the meditation you notice that you are
concentrating yourself in some feeling or expectation, simply move
attention to breathing.
Practice this technique for fifteen minutes. At the
end, keep eyes closed and remain relaxed for two or three minutes. Go
out of the meditation state gradually, open the eyes and assume your
routine.
I suggest the kind meditation practice twice a day, in
the morning and at the end of the afternoon. If you are irritated or
shaken, you can practice it for a few minutes in the middle of the day
to recover the axis.
In the meditation practice you go through one of three
experiences. But you must resist to temptation of evaluating the
experience or your capacity of following the instructions, because the
three reactions are "correct".
You can feel bored or restless, and the mind is going
to be full of thoughts. That means profound emotions are being
liberated. If you relax and continue to meditate, these influences will
be eliminated of your body and mind.
You can fall into sleep. If that happens during the
meditation, it is a sign that you need more hours of rest.
You can enter in the thoughts interval... beyond sound
and breathing.
If you rest enough, keep the good health and devote
yourself every day to meditation, you are going to get a significant
contact with your Self. You will communicate with the cosmic mind, the voice
that talks speechless and that is always present in the intervals
between a thought and other. This is your limitless superior
intelligence, your supreme and true genius, which, on its turn, reflects
the universe wisdom. Everything will be at your reach if you trust in
the interior wisdom.
